Safeguarding

Safer recruitment for permanent school roles.

We record every required safer-recruitment check separately. We agree checking responsibilities with each school; the school remains responsible for its required pre-employment checks.

Before a candidate starts

Two things must be complete.

The school must accept our terms, and the educator must pass every check required for the role.

Educator checks

Every required check must be complete or clearly recorded as not applicable.

School agreement

Permanent recruitment terms, role details and checking responsibilities must be agreed with the school.

Secure documents

Documents are stored securely. Public forms collect only the details needed to respond.

Educator check record

Checks completed before an educator is classroom-ready.

School confirmation

Written confirmation for every educator.

Schools can receive a summary of the educator’s identity, DBS and barred-list information, right to work, qualifications, references and any other required checks. It includes only the personal information the school needs.

Alderstone must have its final legal documents and procedures reviewed and approved before making placements.
